Thank you for watching. In this video I work with ash wood to create a super thin platter. Ash is an open-grained wood allowing for embellishing waxes to change the colour of the grain. The wrist brace you see me wearing in some of the shots is just me trying out an idea to absorb shocks from the lathe as I usually have to record multiple videos in one go.
