في حادثة غريبة، اتخطف مدير إدارة تقنية المعلومات في مصرف ليبيا المركزي، مصعب مسلم، من قدام بيته على إيد ناس مجهولين! البنك المركزي الليبي قرر يقفل ويوقف الشغل في البلد من النهاردة ولحد ما مصعب يرجع سالم.

ا القرار ده جه بعد ما مجلس النواب الليبي أصدر بيان بيرفض فيه محاولات السيطرة على المصرف وتهديدات باقتحام المقر وعزل المحافظ بالقوة.

السفير الأمريكي في ليبيا، ريتشارد نورلاند، دخل على الخط وحذر إن أي محاولة لتغيير قيادة المصرف بالقوة ممكن تسبب مشاكل كبيرة لليبيا في الوصول للأسواق المالية الدولية. السفارة الأمريكية أكدت إن نورلاند اجتمع مع محافظ المصرف، لمناقشة التهديدات الخطيرة اللي بتواجه طرابلس.
