تعريف عن ملكة النحل و أهميتها في خلية النحل الملكة وتسمى أيضاً ب‍أم الطائفة وهي أنثى كاملة التكوين، ويوجد في كل خليَّة ملكة واحدة فقط (إلا في حالاتٍ استثنائيَّة). وهي أكبر حجماً من بقيَّة النّحل، ولها بطنٌ طويل، ذو نهايةٍ مُستَدِقَّة. تبدو أجنحتها قصيرة ولكنّها في الحقيقة أطولُ قليلاً من أجنحة الشّغّالات، وصدرُها أعرض من صدور بقيّة أنواع النّحل، ولونُ أرجل الملكة أكثر زُهُوّاً، يميلُ إلى اللّون البُرتُقاليّ-البُنّي. وتبدو في أغلب الأحيان أكثر نُعومةً، وأشدّ لمعاناً من بقيّة جماعة النّحل. تنحصرُ وظيفة الملكة في وضع البيض الذي ينتج عنه جميع أفراد الخليَّة، وللملكة حُمَةُ لسع مقوَّسة، بعكس حُمة اللّسع المستقيمة الموجودة عند الشّغّالات (العاملات) وهي لا تستعملها إلا في معركتها مع ملكة أخرى منافسة لها في الخلية.فوائد غذاء ملكات النحل
