Be sure to remember this plumbing tip! How to properly install a ball valve.
Every experienced plumber will explain that incorrect installation of shut-off valves and the inability to shut off the water in the event of an emergency leak can cause significant losses.
The ball valve must be installed with a cast part (with a ball) to a pipe or riser, due to greater reliability. If you install the mechanism with a threaded part (coupling), there will be a possibility of leaks. There is also a risk of thread damage. In this case, it will not be possible to turn off the water at all.
