بانغيوس هو يخت عملاق على شكل سلحفاة بحرية، قيد الإنشاء في السعودية. يبلغ طوله 550 متراً، ويبلغ أقصى عرض له 610 أمتار. وسيكون قادراً على استيعاب ما يصل إلى 60 ألف شخص.
تم تصميم بانغيوس من قبل شركة لازاريني الإيطالية، وبدأ بناؤه في حوض بناء في جدة في نوفمبر 2022. ومن المتوقع أن يكتمل في عام 2027.
سيشمل بانغيوس العديد من المرافق، بما في ذلك:
* فندق فاخر يضم 1000 غرفة
* 12 مطعمًا
* 10 صالات عرض
* 6 مسابح
* ملعب جولف
* مطار صغير
سيسمح بانغيوس للمسافرين بالاستمتاع بتجربة فريدة من نوعها، حيث سيتمكنون من العيش في مدينة عائمة على البحر.
فيما يلي بعض التفاصيل الإضافية حول بانغيوس:
* سيتم بناء الهيكل الرئيسي لليخت من الألومنيوم والفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ.
* سيتم تغطية الهيكل بـ 30,000 خلية، تحتوي على محلول عائم غير قابل للغرق.
* سيعمل اليخت بتسعة محركات كهربائية بالكامل من طراز HTS، والذي سيعمل على تشغيلالسفينة بسرعة ثابتة، تبلغ 5 عقدة.
يُقدر أن تكلف بناء بانغيوس 5 مليارات دولار.
