روكى دينيس اصيب بمرض التهاب الاسد او ما يطلق عليه خلل التشنج القحفى وهى حاله نادره تؤدى الى تشوه الوجه بشكل غير طبيعى ونمو غير طبيعى للجمجمه نتيجه الضغط الناجم عن رواسب الكالسيوم غير الطبيعيه فى جمجمه دينيس نحو حواف راسه توقع الاطباء انه سيعيش حتي سن السابعه فقط ولكنه عاش حتي سن السادسه عشر وانه سيعانى من اعاقه عقليه كبيره الا انه كان محبوب من اصدقائه ولقب بلقب افضل صديق .
