الملياردير علي بنات رجل أعمال أسترالي من أصول فلسطينية. كان بيملك ثروة تقدر بالمليارات، لبس أجمل الملابس اللي انصنعت مخصوصاً له ركب أغلى وأجمل السيارات، وكانت حياته كلها عبارة عن رفاهية، لما صار عمره 33 سنة، اصابه مرض السرطان قالوا له الأطباء ما راح تعيش أكثر من 7 شهور، وبدل ما يستسلم للحزن واليأس، قرر إنه يغير حياته ويتقرب من ربه، تبرع بكل ما يملك لإنشاء مؤسسة خيرية، سماها المسلمون حول العالم، هدفها خدمة فقراء المسلمين في كل مكان في العالم، بنى مدارس وبيوت للأيتام ومساجد ومراكز طبية، وبنى أول مقبرة للمسلمين في جمهورية طو جو غرب إفريقيا، وسافر على أفريقيا، ليعيش آخر أيامه بين الفقراء، وصف أيامه إللي عاش هناك بإنها أسعد أيام حياته، علي بنات كسرت التوقعات وعاش لأكثر من سنتين.
