هذا هو لفائف الفولاذ، الذي يعد نقله من أخطر الوظائف في العالم، يبلغ وزن اللفافة الفولاذية الواحدة حوالي ثلاثين طناً، وإذا فرملة الشاحنة فجأة أثناء حملها، يمكن أن يؤدي ذلك إلى كسر مقصورة السائق ويؤدي إلى وقوع حادث كبير على الطريق، وفي بعض الأحيان قد تنهار هذه الشاحنة إلى قطعتين من الوسط. والسؤال الآن هو لماذا يتم نقل الفولاذ الصلب فقط عن طريق إبقائه متوقفًا في شاحنة؟. في حين يمكن أيضاً الاحتفاظ بها مستلقية، مما سيمنعها من التدحرج مثل الإطار، لذلك عندما يتم تحضير لفائف الفولاذ في المصنع، يتم تحويلها إلى لفات وربطها بإحكام شديد. في مثل هذه الحالة، يكون التوتر فيها مرتفعاً جداً لدرجة أنه إذا تم فتحها عن طريق الخطأ، فقد يؤدي ذلك إلى مقتل العامل الذي يقف بالقرب منها. وعندما يتم رفعهم بآلة الرفع بسبب وزنهم الثقيل، يجب رفعهم فقط من الوسط. غير ذلك يصبح من المستحيل تحميلهم في الشاحنة.
