يقول المثل العربي: ذَكَّرَنِي فُوكِ حِمَارَيْ أَهْلِي.
أصله أن رجلا خَرَجَ يطلبُ حمارين ضلَاّ له، فرأى امرأة مُنْتَقِبة، فأعجبته حتى نَسِيَ الحمارين، فلم يزل يطلب إليها حتى سَفَرَتْ له، فإذا هي فَوْهَاء، والفَوَه: أن تَخْرُجَ الأَسْنانُ من الشَّفَتَيْنِ مع طُولِها فحين رأى أسَنَاَنَها ذكر الحمارين، فقال: ذكرني فوكِ حماري أهلي، وأنشأ يقول:
لَيْتَ النِّقابَ على النساء محرَّمٌ … كَيْلَا تَغُرَّ قبيحةٌ إنساناً
