#لات من الحروف العاملة عمل #ليس، تفيد النفي، ولا يجتمع اسمها وخبرها، لا بدَّ أن يُحذف أحدهما، والأشيع حذف اسمها، ولا تعمل إلا في كلمات تدل على الزمن، على وجه الخصوص ثلاث كلمات: حين، وأوان، وساعة.
